As I wake and rise this morning

God I ask you to be with me

Give me strength and peace today

In every way I need

You are good your love is sweet

In you my hope is found

All my worries lay at your feet

Where anxious thoughts are bound

I trust you with the little things

The medium and the big

I know you’ll never leave me

And its peace to me, you give

Thank you Lord for this new day

For food, a home and warmth

Thank you for family & friends

And all of natures sounds

I praise you you for my life and breath

And all that you provide

May your spirit dwell within my heart

Stirring me inside

Help me to do the work you planned

Whatever you’ve called me to

Put my hand to the plow, Oh Lord

Let love be in all I do.
